Spring

Spring comes and the mailbox covers change from Christmas and winter themes.  The red oaks leaf out red, harbinger of glorious fall, then turn soft green until their deep greens of summer.

Blossoms of every color from the tiniest flower to bushes to magnificent trees color the greening face of spring.

Birds return.  The sun rises at 5 am or shortly thereafter.

"The light of faith abides within the heart of every child like buds that wait for blossoming."  Hymn #305

He who loses "...himself in the service of others grows and blossoms in this life and in eternity.”
Dallin H Oaks

One of our great joys is to witness missionaries who learn to love through service and sacrifice. The beauties of spring blossoms only begin to capture the joy in those who blossom through service.

President knows how much I love flowers and so caught me amongst them!

Missionaries come in as many varieties as the flowers, no two alike, all with unique talents and gifts of the Spirit.
