Cairns: a heap of stones piled up as a memorial or landmark
In Maine, along beaches, roadsides, are built cairns, a heap
of stones piled up as a memorial or a landmark.
A Relief Society president chose a photo of a cairn to illustrate
balance. In another talk, we used the
cairns to talk about the original meaning of trophy, a temporary memorial where
the battle turned (Bible Dictionary, Ebenezer).
The men try a balancing act.
It looks easier than it is!
Indeed finding the balance in the business of missionary work in challenging.
